During the ongoing legal conflict between Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Bryan Freedman, the attorney for Justin Baldoni, has provided a resounding response to the request for a gag order that was made by this couple.

According to TMZ, in an effort to highlight the irony of Lively's efforts to conceal the truth, Freedman stated that he will not be "bullied" into silence.

He said, "The irony is not lost on anyone that Ms. Lively is so petrified of the truth that she has moved to gag it."

Lively was accused by Freedman of putting together a "disturbingly false and well-calculated hit piece" that was published in the New York Times.

Freedman asserted that Lively's activities were intentionally designed to harm the lives of innocent people while simultaneously shifting blame onto a bogus smear campaign.

Freedman went on to criticize Lively for bringing severe allegations of sexual harassment without taking into account the possible harm that could be caused to the individual who was accused as well as the larger community of people who experience domestic violence.

It was his insistence that there must be accountability for conduct of this nature, saying, "When you accuse innocent individuals of something so disturbing as sexual harassment... this is where accountability for such mean-spirited actions must be taken."

In his conclusion, he reaffirmed his dedication to defending his clients with "pure, unedited facts," stating a willingness to offer evidence that provides proof that contradicts Lively's assertions.

According to Page Six, the motion to ban Freedman from speaking to the media or exposing discovery information was submitted by Lively and Reynolds earlier this week to Judge Lewis J. Liman. They are hoping to avoid any potential consequences.

According to their argument, Freedman's public statements have the potential to "taint the jury pool" in the event that the case is brought before a judge.

Since Lively filed her initial complaint against Baldoni on December 20, they brought attention to the fact that Freedman had made a number of appearances in the media and had disclosed material to the press. This was specifically mentioned in their letter.

The couple asserted that Freedman's claims contained "numerous new false statements" regarding Lively and other individuals including other people.

In response to Lively's legal maneuver, sources close to Baldoni expressed their shock and disapproval, describing it as "grossly unfair" in light of the gravity of her charges.

Their response to the request for a gag order was that it was "unbelievable," and they stated that Freedman had only been defending his client against Lively's alleged "takedown campaign."

As part of a broader lawsuit that Baldoni filed against Lively and Reynolds, which is worth $400 million, she is being accused of defamation, civil extortion, and other serious claims. This court struggle is a component of that larger litigation. A denial of any impropriety in the matter has been made by Lively.
