Due to Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni's furious legal statements, their confrontation has escalated. The public's criticism of Blake during the promotion of their film "It Ends With Us" sparked the disagreement.

As evidence, she presented screenshots of discussions that took place amongst Justin's associates. She asserted that a smear campaign targeting her was the responsibility of Justin's team. According to Express, Blake asserted that this campaign was a response to a sexual harassment complaint that she had made through the appropriate means when she was working on set.

Immediately after Blake took legal action, Justin reacted by filing a large defamation claim for the amount of $400 million. In response, Blake's legal team asserted that she possessed "concrete evidence of sexual harassment and retaliation" involving Justin. They claimed that Justin was using strategies from the "abuser handbook" in his actions.

The defense attorney for Justin, Bryan Freedman, stated that their defamation lawsuit contains approximately 200 pages of evidence that refute Blake's assertions of a smear campaign. Freedman defended his client by noting that the material is indisputable.

In his criticism of Blake, Freedman stated that Blake had reportedly attempted to harm Justin's reputation while simultaneously denying him the opportunity to defend himself. He stressed that Justin had never publicly called out Blake for her claimed wrongdoings during filming and that he had addressed her issues in a proper manner, despite the fact that he disagreed with her over the situations.

Moreover, per CBR, the attorney stated that they would also speak for victims in the community of domestic abuse who are suffering while Blake pursues her "self-serving and selfish vendetta" in the media. This was in addition to the lawyer's desire to defend Justin against Blake's charges.

The legal team representing Blake, on the other hand, characterized Justin's complaint as an example of DARVO, which stands for deny, attack, reverse victim and offender. They did this by describing it as a continuation of abusive methods. They contended that this is a common tactic that abusers employ in order to transfer blame onto the victim of their behavior.

Blake's legal representatives asserted that Justin's response to her charges gave the impression that she was to blame for the harassment, implying that her attire was a justification for the abuse that she endured.

They came to the conclusion that the technique of assaulting Blake is impulsive and does not disprove the evidence that she presented in her lawsuit. They also asserted that it will ultimately be unsuccessful. The prolonged legal battle illuminates their relationship and the seriousness of the charges.
