Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer have reportedly tied the knot, concluding a six-year relationship marked by public affection, creative collaboration, and a shared desire for privacy. According to TMZ, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at their Los Angeles home on April 20. The event followed a marriage license filing in L.A. County earlier that week.
Though neither Stewart, 35, nor Meyer, 37, has publicly confirmed the wedding, images and video obtained by TMZ appeared to show the couple embracing during what looked to be a home ceremony. Among the guests reportedly in attendance were actress Ashley Benson and her husband, Brandon Davis.
The couple's relationship began publicly in 2019, though Stewart revealed in a 2019 interview with Howard Stern that they had first met years earlier on a film set. The relationship became official after a reconnection at a mutual friend's birthday party. Stewart recounted falling for Meyer quickly, saying she confessed her love just two weeks into dating. "I was just like, 'Oh man, I'm so f****** in love with you.' Done," Stewart recalled on Stern's show.
The engagement was announced in November 2021, also during an appearance on Stern, when Stewart said that Meyer had proposed. "I wanted to be proposed to," Stewart said. "I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it."
Meyer, the daughter of Oscar-nominated screenwriter Nicholas Meyer, is a writer and actress whose credits include co-writing the Netflix film Moxie. She and Stewart have collaborated on multiple projects, including a yet-to-be-released stoner comedy and a television series with Stewart attached to star. Stewart praised her fiancée's talent in Vanity Fair, calling her "a really genuinely brilliant f****** screenwriter."
The couple's relationship has also featured moments of public support, with Meyer frequently posting affectionate messages about Stewart on social media. On Stewart's birthday this year, Meyer wrote on Instagram, "Happy birthday to my favorite person to do nothing, and everything, with."
Earlier this year, Stewart appeared on the "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast, sharing that the couple had taken steps toward building a family, saying they had "done really annoying things, like freeze our eggs and stuff."
Stewart, known for her breakout role in the Twilight series and recent Oscar-nominated performance in Spencer, had previously hinted that she wanted a simple, low-key wedding. "We're just going to, like, stand and, like, do vows and f****** party after," she told Stern in 2021, even suggesting that celebrity chef Guy Fieri might officiate.
