Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly forming a high-profile alliance with Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz, a move that insiders say could further strain the couple's long-fraught relationship with David and Victoria Beckham. The Sussexes recently hosted the younger Beckhams at their Montecito mansion for a VIP dinner, according to sources cited by Closer and The Mirror.
"The Sussexes are looking to really build on this friendship, and all of them see huge potential for it to evolve into a 'US Fab Four,'" a source told Closer magazine. While Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, were not directly invited by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, insiders suggest they received the invitation through mutual acquaintances. The couple, who live in Los Angeles, reportedly had "a wonderful time" and exchanged numbers with their hosts after the event.
The gathering came just days after Brooklyn skipped his father David Beckham's 50th birthday celebrations in London, further fueling speculation of familial tension. Sources told The Mirror that Brooklyn and Nicola were "devastated" after being denied a private meeting with David and Victoria during a recent visit to London. "They cannot believe that Victoria & David refused to see them privately after they travelled all the way to London specifically to try to repair the relationship," the source said.
Nicola, according to sources, has encouraged Brooklyn to maintain ties with his family. Still, insiders claim that both were "battle-wounded" by the ongoing rift and found emotional refuge in their growing relationship with Meghan and Harry. "As far as they're all concerned, teaming up and finding solidarity in adversity is a no-brainer," one source said.
During the Montecito dinner, Prince Harry allegedly offered Brooklyn "his unwavering support," referencing his own high-profile family tensions. "Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar," a source told Closer.
The emerging alliance appears to be perceived as a slight by the senior Beckhams. "Creating this new power alliance is a big slap in the face for David, Victoria and the royals - but the four have zero qualms or regrets about that because they all feel like they've been so badly wronged," another insider added.
Tensions between Prince Harry and David Beckham have reportedly been simmering for years. The Duke of Sussex had previously asked David to serve as an ambassador for the Invictus Games but reportedly kept him at a distance after concerns that Victoria Beckham had leaked stories about Meghan.
