Agents of SHIELD season 7 episode 6 is arriving next week on ABC, with the title "Adapt Or Die." The episode continues with the time-travel theme, but will also explore other personal stories in the process. And in next week's episode, the story focuses on Mack's parents.
Saving Mack's parents is one of the most important things the team has to do in Agents of SHIELD season 7 episode 6. They have to to whatevere they can to rescue them. In the event they couldn't save them, the future will be altered -- meaning they couldn't also save Mack.
This is one of the effects of the time-travel; changing something in the past could potentially change what's in the present and then future. What the team needs to do now is to avoid things from happening before it's too late. Yet, they also now this isn't an easy mission.
Since the Zephyr has been damaged, stakes are even higher than ever. Now, the team needs to do whatever they can to rescue Mack's parents. They also need to save SHIELD from chronicom infestation and fix the ship at the same time. They have to do all of these before the next time jump occurs.
Agents of SHIELD season 7 episode 6 also sees Sousa and Daisy finding themselves at a disadvantage against Nathaniel Malick and his crew. Coulson, on the other hand, will try to do something in order to save the future. Based on the promo, his plan is to die.
While this seemed to be terrible, this is something that he's determined to do. The good thing here is that, even if he does die, there are ways to bring him back. He is confident to make this happen, so there isn't a serious concern here at all.
The episode title also suggests that most of the characters will continue finding their rightful place in the complicated timeline. Some relationships should be navigated, along with some big-time surprises. The season isn't at the halfway point yet, so there's still a lot of time to explore all of these.
