Ellen DeGeneres continues to recover from the flooding of unfavorable reviews she received for her primary Netflix comedy return. According to a new report, the negative sentiment has spread to her marriage, resulting in an important split between her and Portia De Rossi.
“Ellen is something like a deposed dictator as far as her reputation in show business is concerned. She is incredibly famous. She has a massive fortune, but all of her power and influence are gone and don’t seem like they’re ever coming back," an unnamed source told In Touch Weekly.
The talk show tyrant, 66, informed both admirers and haters that she decided to close "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in 2021. Many attributed this decision to the scathing accusations made by ten former employees, who claimed that she created a "toxic" workplace on set through an atmosphere of "racism, fear, and intimidation," RadarOnline reported.
Ellen attempted to regain her audience by releasing an hour-long comedy special, "For Your Approval," after taking a break from the spotlight, a frequently used strategy by canceled celebrities. However, the majority of her audience did not approve of this move.
The insider made it abundantly apparent that Ellen's Netflix special did not, to put it bluntly, do much to mitigate the negative impact of her image.

Because of all the crazy schemes Ellen has pulled them into as a pair, their marriage is truly the most peculiar in all of Hollywood. Additionally, many of Ellen's side hustles have been eliminated due to her controversy. People can sense that something is "wrong," the first insider continued because they have never actually seen Ellen in this state before.
