On one side, Donald Trump may be welcomed by the Prime Minister and key members of the British government warmly, as is protocol. That doesn't mean, however, that everyone else has to do it. Well-meaning Britons who have issues with how Trump handles issues like immigration and deportation have rallied to have Green Day's 'American Idiot' topping the charts in commemoration with the US president's visit, The New Yorker reports.

That is only the beginning of their own version of the 'warm' British welcome they feel Trump deserves. London mayor Sadiq Khan was said to have permitted the flying of a 20-foot-tall 'angry Trump baby' over the skies of the city. The Business Insider says that Trump did not like it, at all, saying that the blimp gave him an 'unwelcome' feeling.

London Is A No-Go

Trump is taking note of the areas he should avoid during the visit, and this includes downtown London.

London is reportedly hosting 200,000 protesters who want to give Trump a piece of their mind. Rightfully so, Trump said in an interview with The Sun-that he didn't have any reasons to go to London since the blimp and the protesters were there. Khan, for his part, believed there wasn't anything wrong with allowing the blimp as well as the protest, which he called 'peaceful.'

Trump was further quoted saying that he loved London as a city, and he wanted to return there. But when people are saying things like he is a 'big, angry baby' with 'tiny hands,' then he reiterates his desire not to go to a city that doesn't welcome him.

There were many things that protesters pointed out, the immigration issue only being the least of it.

American Idiot After All These Years

The song, released in the album 'Dookie' in 1994, pertained to a 'nation controlled by the media.' It is clear, however, that the Trump administration has a love-hate-mostly hate-relationship with the media. Couple that with the hold Trump has on citizens in the US that see nothing wrong with how his administration handles things and you've got a familiar situation.

It is easy to lambast the American president for these protesters. He has a poor selection of issues to get riled at. While at one hand, student protesters demanding safety in schools wouldn't even get a mention, a tirade by a late night show host gets center stage.
