Airbnb has announced a contest called the "Night at the Great Wall" in which the winners will experience a once-in-a-lifetime outdoor sleepover at the historic destination.

Four winners will have a specially built room on the wall. Their night will start with a Chinese multi-course gourmet dinner. Each of the meals to be served will offer the different tastes of Chinese culture and display the rich culinary traditions of the country. While supper is being served, there will be performances featuring traditional Chinese music.

The next morning, the lucky winners will be given time to hike a little farther to enjoy the view of the sunrise. Later in the day, they will be introduced to the basics of Chinese calligraphy and will be allowed to make their Chinese stamps.

The ultimate take away from the experience is the chance to learn about the conservation effort of The Great Wall of China.

"Of course, now that you've stayed here as your home for a night, it's part of your duty to help preserve and protect its cultural heritage," Airbnb said in its official press release. The contest will close on Aug. 11 and winners should be free to travel come Sept. 3 to 9.

A panel of judges will choose the four lucky winners based on their answers to this question:

"Why is it more important now than ever to break down barriers between cultures? How would you want to build new connections?" Answers should only be in 550 words or less.

CNN reported that Chinese netizens had mixed reactions about the contests, particularly the outdoor sleepover. Some warned the would-be winners that temperature in Beijing is too humid at this time. A few cautioned about mosquitoes in the area.

Some were concerned about the damage that an overnight sleepover will bring to the ancient walls.

A few, however, were excited with one netizen describing it as "something out of the Harry Potter" movies.

In November of 2017, Airbnb held a contest in which a winner will have the chance to sleep in a LEGO house in Denmark.

The two-bedroom house was entirely made of LEGOs with one room under a LEGO waterfall. It was surrounded by a pool of bricks. It also had a teddy bear, lamps, alarm clock, book, and a cat made of LEGOs.

At the time the question to be answered was: "If you and your family had an infinite supply of LEGO bricks, what would you build?"
