As Andy Lau Tak-Wah's concert draws nearer, hundreds of fans all over the globe are patiently lining up to get hold of the tickets. One of which is a Chinese man, Zheng, who had been queuing outside the ticket office at Youth Square, Chai Wan on Sunday, Aug. 26.

Zheng, 58, was second in the line when two men suddenly attacked him with a knife after he refused to give up his spot. He was sliced on his left hand and left ear before the attackers fled the scene.

A security guard, then, immediately alerted the police. Zheng, on the other hand, was taken to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in Chai Wan for treatment.

"Investigators were told he was helping others queue until Sunday when someone was to come and take over from him," an unnamed source said, as quoted by South China Morning Post. "One of them punched the victim and the other attacked him with a knife," the source added.

Just days after the incident, Hong Kong police arrested the two attackers who are suspected to be triad members. The suspects were still being held for questioning. Thus, no charges have been filed yet.

Due to this, superstar and singer Andy Lau Tak-Wah posted a video on his Facebook account urging the police to beef up security at the ticketing site. He added: "While queuing to buy tickets, if you feel your safety is at risk, please make a report to police immediately."

Andy Lau Tak-Wah, who gained widespread fame after starring as Kong Tai Wai in the 1982 TVB series "The Emissary," will hold a concert tour called "My Love Andy Lau Word Tour - Hong Kong" from Dec. 15 to Jan. 3, 2019 at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Following that, he will have another show in mainland China.

Aside from that, fans can expect to see the 56-year-old actor-singer starring next in Adrian Kwan's "Find Your Voice." In the film, he plays Yim Chi Long, an internationally renowned conductor who leads a pessimistic group of choir students.

The "The Great Wall" star will also headline the much-awaited action film, "The White Storm 2 - Drug Lords," along with Louis Koo, Michael Miu, Karena Lam, Cherrie Ying, Chrissie Chau, Carlos Chan, Michelle Wai and Cheung Kwok Keung. He plays a former triad member, Yu Shun Tin, who is now a philanthropist and financial tycoon. No release date has been set yet.
