Microsoft is finally releasing the details of its new subscription plans bundling the Xbox One with its top gaming services. Aside from getting the console, gamers will also get over 100 games with Xbox Game Pass as well as membership to the Xbox Live Gold for online multiplayer games by subscribing to any of the two Xbox All Access plans.
Available Plans
The Xbox All Access page on Microsoft Store went live on August 27, 2018, signaling the start of the plans' availability. There are two types of plans being offered: one offers a bundle that comes with the regular Xbox One S and another plan bundles the more powerful Xbox One X along with the gaming services.
Of course, the two plans vary in terms of their monthly subscription fees to account for the price difference of the gaming consoles. The cheaper plan costs $21.99 a month. It comes with the Xbox One S console as well as well as the Xbox Game Pass giving players access to over 100 titles.
The pricier Xbox All Access plan costs $34.99 a month. However, gamers who opt for this plan will get an Xbox One X console which Microsoft touts on its site as the world's most powerful console with 40 percent more power than other consoles. With its 2.3 GHz AMD CPU, games are guaranteed to play smoother, with faster load times and enhanced graphics output. For those who plan to play 4K gaming, this is the console of choice for a truly immersive experience. Just as the previous plan, the monthly subscription also comes with the Xbox Game Pass so gamers don't have to worry about buying new titles for their new console.
Xbox Live Gold, 24 Months Commitment Period
Microsoft understands that online multiplayer games are all the rage today. Thus, both plans also come with membership to the Xbox Live Gold so gamers can access the latest and most advanced online games in the market. The membership also grants users big discounts on games in the Xbox Store.
However, those who want to sign in for any of the Xbox All Access plans must remember that there is a commitment period of 24 months. Microsoft says that the deals are only available for a limited period of time or until supply lasts. Another requirement, according to The Verge, is that signing up for a subscription must be done in person and is only available at a participating Microsoft Store.
