Dwayne Wade recently announced that he will return to Miami Heat for one more season. It is safe to say his decision was influenced by deep contemplations over the summer.

According to NBA, the news was revealed by Wade in YouTube video captioned with "One Last Dance." It was reportedly published on Sunday in the 12-time all-star's official YouTube account. He expressed how it would be nice if his fans join him for the one last season, or which he called one last dance with Miami Heat. Wade also shared how he would give everything else he has for it and he is more than happy to do that.

"This is it. I've given this game everything that I have, and I am happy about that. I am going to give it for one last season, everything else I have left," Wade said. The said video was recorded for almost ten minutes and Wade explained the factors that affected his decision.

Also, he believes the life he has now was built up to what his final season will be in NBA. He mentioned his family in the video many times and expressed his gratitude towards them and his fans. Wade shared that his family has placed him first for good reasons in years. However, there is a point in time where people have to think about other stuff despite the fact that they are the one who has supported him, his dream, and his journey.

Moreover, Wade was emotional about the upcoming toll in losing Chicago native and former agent Henry Thomas to a neuromuscular disease last January. He shared that the absence of Thomas last year was his turning point. He lost something in the game and emphasized how returning helped a lot, though it was not enough.

In the end, the former fifth overall pick said his love for basketball remained and the journey it gave him. Wade wants fans to understand how the basketball game is bigger than his decision as it does not have anything to do with his talent. Miami Herald revealed the NBA three-time NBA champ will return for 16th and will be the final season with Heats.

For those who are not aware, in 2003, the team drafted him fifth overall. According to the latter source, Heat offered Wade $2.4M as the minimum for the veteran basketball player and obviously, he is set to accept it. Dwayne Wade already met with the team's coach, Erik Spoelstra.
