Finally, the fight between two contenders is now official in the UFC 229 this October 2018, reports MMA Fighting. It is safe to say that their faceoff is now inevitable and fans can look forward to more exposures in the weeks to come, leading to the upcoming grand event.
With less than one month until their title fight, avid followers of UFC may watch out for Nurmagomedov and McGregor as they take the stage in their upcoming press conference in New York City on Thursday. However, the event is closed to the public but fight fans may tune in to the press conference in New York Time Square at a UFC watch party. Credentialed UFC media will be the only one involved.
McGregor was always known for playing by his own rules and he took to twitter some of his thoughts last September 18. He teased his own guidelines for the public admission into the event at the Radio City Music Hall. As expected, the 30-year-old mixed martial artist and boxer is pushing the Proper 12 Irish whiskey brand. It was something he recently revealed earlier this week.
Moreover, McGregor told GQ that he plans to donate over $1 million per year of the whiskey's proceeds at $5 per case to charities and first responder organizations. Fight fans can expect the Irishman's most anticipated comeback against Nurmagomedov at the main event of UFC 229 on Oct. 6 in Las Vegas inside the T-Mobile Arena.

It seems this is the way for him to stay out of trouble or he has become busy doing other things like his new whiskey.
UFC President Dana White said in the past that there might not be a touring promotion blitz ala McGregor and Mayweather circus. Talking about the admission that will allow the public to join the press conference, McGregor said on Twitter, "The ticket for entry is a bottle of @ProperWhiskey. Two bottles and you skip the Q to the top. My soldiers will be outside making sure this rule is strictly adhered to."
