In more than a week, viewers are about to see the continuation of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey's fight to freedom in "Making a Murderer" Season 2. New suspects, testimonies, and proofs will emerge to solve Teresa Halbach's murder case and to overturn Avery and Dassey's alleged wrongful conviction.

Avery has a new lawyer, Kathleen Zellner, in "Making a Murderer" Season 2. She is known for her works on overturning wrongful convictions, and she will probably do her best to free her client.

Zellner has been vocal about Avery's case on Twitter, and she will continuously do so in "Making a Murderer" Season 2. She sees her client as innocent and claims the court has yet to find Halbach's real killer.

Avery's legal representative already filed a new motion for reconsideration that "Making a Murderer" Season 2 would be exploring. She also presented a 1,250-page filing to the court, claiming Halbach's boyfriend, Ryan Hillegas, is the one who killed her, per ScreenRant.

Zellner revealed new testimonies in "Making a Murderer" Season 2. It included retired FBI Agent Gregg McCrary's claim that Hillegas did not give any alibi or even an official statement about his activities from October 31, 2005, to November 3, 2005 - the time of his girlfriend's disappearance. He also revealed that there was no evidence that the authorities even asked him to give his testimony.

Zellner also claimed that Hillegas was the one who directed the police to the location of Halbach's car. There was also evidence that proved he deleted voicemails from Halbach's phone when she died. It got also revealed that he had injuries on his right hand when his girlfriend got murdered that seemed to be suspicious as he was known to be an abusive partner in his previous relationships. These things might get explored in "Making a Murderer" Season 2.

Additionally, Zellner also filed new documents in July that Dassey's brother, Bobby, and his mother and Avery's sister, Barb Tadych, were involved in the murder. She said Bobby gave false statements to the police and Barb covered up the murder. Would the Avery family get destroyed in "Making a Murderer" Season 2?

"It does not matter how long it takes, what it costs or what obstacles we have to overcome," Zellner said about Avery's case in "Making a Murderer" Season 2, via Radio Times. "Our efforts to win Mr. Avery's freedom will never stop."

"Making a Murderer" Season 2 would give new insights to Avery and Dassey's case and a lot more information that haven't had the chance to be explored in the first season. "There is a ton of info that wasn't explored just in the confines of the episodes we've done," Netflix executive Ted Sarandos teased at the recent TCA summer press tour.

Netflix will drop "Making a Murderer" Season 2's 10 new episodes on October 19.
