Dubai, one the leading cities of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has once again set a historic feat with the launch of a new system that will allow international investors to start their businesses in the city without the need of being physically located there. The new system was created through a partnership agreement between the Dubai Investment Development Agency and the Alliance Business Centers Network.
The Dubai Investment Development Agency is an agency that works under the Dubai Economic Development which oversees and helps facilitate all economic-related activities in the region. On the other hand, the Alliance Business Centers Network is based in the United States and it is widely considered as one of the leading providers of virtual offices, meeting rooms, and fully serviced offices in the UAE. The company has built an extensive network throughout the years encompassing more than 650 locations in over 45 countries.
The newly minted partnership will allow international investors to use the network to start a new business venture in Dubai. With a network spanning more than 650 locations in 45 countries, many observers believe that the new venture will help open Dubai into a bigger and more lucrative network of international investors.
The Alliance Business Centers Network provides corporate and investor services to more than 50,000 clients. The company claims that it has established 15 million-square-foot of fully serviced offices in various locations all over the world that are vital to investors. The company operates several business ventures and subsidiaries in Africa, the Middle East, and Russia.
On the other hand, Dubai has been one of the most lucrative markets when it comes to investments in the past few months. Recently, the city claims that it has attracted more than 1,500 new investors for the month of September alone.
The new digital platform of the Dubai Department of Economic Development is aptly called "Business Map." The city reported that this new digital platform has registered more than 22,000 business registrations and licensing transactions throughout the month of September. That is a significant leap compared to data compiled in August which only reported about 18,000 completed transactions.
Because of this new Business Map digital platform, Dubai was able to attract investors from all over the globe. Among the prominent nationalities that have sought to secure licenses from the city last month are from the United States, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and Jordan.
