Beyoncé and Jay-Z never had money problems, despite the claim of the report published over a year ago. At that time, the tabloid maintained the two had "cash crunch" as they spend their money on expensive real estate properties on both coasts of the United States. This claim has been debunked last year and confirmed to be untrue until now.

OK! Magazine reported on October 15, 2017, that Beyoncé and Jay-Z had financial problems as they spend more than $100 million combined for an impressive home in the Hamptons and a mega-mansion in Los Angeles. A so-called source of the outlet at that time said that "more money" was being spent rather than "coming in."

The tipster contends other reasons why Beyoncé and Jay-Z had money problems include: Beyoncé wanting to work far less; Jay-Z's streaming service Tidal "struggling;" and having their twins, Rumi and Sir. Because of this, their financial advisor allegedly told them to limit their spending as they are living beyond their means.

"Bey is eager to work less right now, not more," the alleged source said at that time and added, "Their accountants are warning them to scale back. It's hard to imagine, but they're living beyond their means."

However, as per Gossip Cop, Beyoncé and Jay-Z become richer for the past 365 days. Although the outlet asserted the streaming company was struggling, Sprint invested $200 million in Tidal for a 33 percent stake, and the company has been valuated at $600 million. Moreover, Beyoncé didn't work less, in fact, she worked hard and paid off big.

It should also be noted that their "On The Run II Tour" grossed more than $200 million. According to Forbes, Jay-Z was considered to be the top Hip-Hop artist this 2018 as he earned $76.5 million for the release of his and Beyoncé's joint album Everything Is Love and touring in support of his record 4:44. In addition, their combined wealth is now more than $1.255 billion and counting - thanks to music and their other ventures.

Therefore, it's not really true that Beyoncé and Jay-Z did not have "money problems" - nor they ever have.

Meanwhile, OK! Magazine has been caught several times for making false claims regarding the life of the two. For instance, the tabloid was busted for reporting they were planning to buy Brad Pitt's house, but it only confirmed to be fabricated. Hence, the publication has little or no information about the financial or real estate dealings of the couple.
