Blake Shelton is pushing Gwen Stefani to make a joint album as he wants to be "a modern version of Johnny and June Cash, so they can work together and tour together," according to HollywoodLife. The source of the outlet also claims Stefani may not be on board with the idea of Shelton.

"Gwen is a little more realistic though, and she wonders how they could meld their very different music styles together because she wants to always remain authentic," the insider of the magazine continues. Shelton reportedly talked about the joint album all the time, but Stefani isn't really up for the idea as of the moment.

But according to Gossip Cop, this claim is simply fabricated as the tabloid has been caught several times from making stories about Shelton and Stefani. Additionally, the alleged "source" of the outlet seemed to be not true as a rep for Stefani confirmed the claim is false.

It's actually nonsense if Stefani wouldn't like to make joint album with Shelton as it can be recalled they collaborated on the song "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" on Shelton's 2016 album If I'm Honest, and also collaborated on the title track of Stefani's 2017 holiday album You Make It Feel Like Christmas. The tabloid failed to mention the couple has made music together before.

It's also worth noting that Stefani once responded, "In my dreams," when she was asked Stefani about the possibility of creating a duet album with Shelton back in 2016. She's open with the idea of making a joint album with her boyfriend, and she isn't disregarding the idea.  And regardless of what she felt, Stefani's spokesperson made it clear that Shelton isn't "pushing" her to make an album.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time HollywoodLife made a story regarding the couple's career plans. Just last month, the tabloid has been busted by Gossip Cop for reporting Shelton and Stefani were planning to do a reality show together. The alleged insider at that time asserted that although two have other obligations aside from their music career, they're still planning to do a reality show as they wanted to branch out. However, the outlet didn't even offer any details and plans for the supposed "reality TV show about them," making the claim to be entirely fabricated.

And now, the latest claim that Shelton is pushing Stefani to make a joint album is fabricated as well.
