Bradley Copper is planning to join "RuPaul's Drag Race," according to the latest report. The actor reportedly befriends one of the stars of the American reality show, which prompted him to join. This story, however, has been debunked and set straight.

National Enquirer claims Drag queen Shangela, who appeared in Cooper's latest film "A Star Is Born," convinced the actor to appear on the reality series. The so-called source of the tabloid said that although the American drag queen played the role of Lady Gaga's drag mother in the movie, she's more interested in Cooper.

"Bradley was a total gentleman as a director. He encouraged her to push the character as far as she wanted," the tipster added.

Furthermore, Shangela allegedly called the actor "Mr. Cooper," while he called her "honey." The unidentifiable insider then contends Cooper will grab her face every time the shoot ends and he looks very excited. And since the actor is very comfortable being around with drag queens and he's now friends with Shangela, the source continues saying; Cooper will make an appearance on RuPaul's Drag Race.

But according to Gossip Cop, the claim of the tabloid is entirely fabricated and came from an untraceable source, and a rep for Cooper also confirmed the report isn't true. Although Shangela was frequently being seen on RuPaul's Drag Race, she's still not a permanent fixture on the American reality show, so she isn't involved what's happening behind the scenes.

Also, Shangela had been eliminated from the all-star edition last season, and there's no confirmation if she's planning to return for another installment. Hence, the TV personality wasn't involved regularly in the show, so the claim that she convinced Cooper to join is nonsense. The tabloid didn't also provide details, particularly what would be the role of the actor in the reality series.

Meanwhile, National Enquirer has been busted several times for making stories about the career of the actor. Just last year, the tabloid wrongly reported Cooper forced Lady Gaga to use her real name (Stefani Germanotta) in A Star Is Born, and they were feuding over the movie's credits. The outlet cited an "on-set spy" at that time claiming Cooper wanted to drop the name "Lady Gaga" and use her real name instead, but then, it has been shown that the singer's stage name has been listed in the film's credits.

And with the latest claim that he's joining RuPaul's Drag Race, Cooper's rep already confirmed the claim is simply fabricated.
