Well, it seemed not true at all. The pair eventually split, and the rest was history. Now, Kris reportedly wants nothing to do with Kim.
For Kris Humphries, he does not see any reason for him to keep up with Kim Kardashian. Seven years after they broke up and filed a divorce (72 days after exchanging vows), Humphries wants to have "zero association" with Kardashian, PopCulture reports.
According to a source, Kris Humphries, who is a former NBA player, wants to enjoy the single life and does not want himself to be associated with Kim Kardashian. Kris, who now works in real estate, is trying to stay away from the spotlight. And if he wants anything in this world, it would be to dissociate himself from Kim.
The supposed tipster added that Kris Humphries's love for Kim Kardashian was genuine and real, especially when their wedding started in 2011. Unfortunately, in the long run, he felt "screwed over," especially since their marriage proved to be short. Kardashian, on the other hand, confessed that during their honeymoon, she already knew that their relationship would not last. She even allegedly ran and cried to her sister Kourtney, whom she told about what she felt at that time. "Their marriage is like a distant memory," the source explained.
Almost a year after Kim Kardashian filed for divorce, Myla Sinanaj is believed to have told Kris Humphries that she was suspicious about Kim. She believes that the latter was cheating on him and the guy in question is none other than Kanye West. Kim's mother Kris Jenner even referred to Ye as a "close family friend," US Weekly reports.
Kris Humphries's source, however, argued that, if West was indeed a close friend to the family, he would have been invited to the wedding. Model Amber Rose, who dated West before, accused Kardashian and Ye of cheating each other when Kardashian was still hanging out with NFL superstar Reggie Bush. The latter, on the other hand, dated Kim before she finally got married to Kris.
Ultimately, Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian broke up. She then went to marry West in Florence, Italy sometime in May 2014. Since then, the celebrity couple has gone on to have three children.
