Many may not like Kim Kardashian for her past, but there is no doubt that her life has changed dramatically. She will even admit all these rough patches that she went through. Recently, she opened up about an experience where she got robbed and talked about the positive impact it has on her life.

According to Cosmopolitan, Kim Kardashian was robbed somewhere in Paris in 2016. During that time, not only was she bound but also gagged in her hotel room. There were reportedly five men, all of whom tried dressing as police. Unfortunately for the "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star, the thieves got away with a whopping $6.1 million worth of jewelry.

Kim Kardashian admitted how scary the experience was to the point that she thought she could have never gotten alive. Now, however, she feels different about the traumatic scene. Kanye West's wife even says that she is "grateful" that the robbery took place.

Appearing on the show called "The Alec Baldwin Show," Kim Kardashian shared how the robbery went through and how it affected her at first. She said that right after the incident, she had no idea how to function well and be back to her normal state. She talked about her mom trying to visit her now and then just to see her okay.

Kim Kardashian also admitted that in the long run, her mom would ask her to come out of bed and face the day. However, she would keep everything she felt inside and ignore her. "Pull on a little bit of makeup, feel yourself again," she said, referencing to her mom's previous lines.

Kim Kardashian said that at first, she blamed herself for what happened. She sees herself as a "realist," which, in turn, forced her to post almost all of her stuff online. She talked about how she always liked the idea of flaunting her stuff, from cars to jewelry to bags. She even got into thinking that she is "worth so much," Entertainment Tonight reports.

Following the unfortunate robbery, Kim Kardashian confessed how it changed her life significantly. And while she knew how traumatizing it was, she was glad it happened, especially since it "changed" her. Regardless, she would not wish for such thing to happen to anyone. Still, according to her, it does not change the fact that it brought something positive to her life. After the event, Kim reportedly increased her security, as well as of her family's.
