Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting to have twins, according to the latest report this week. However, this claim has been debunked, which was only based on how "royal fans" suspecting Markle might probably be carrying two babies.
The latest cover issue of Woman's Day magazine declares, "Twins! Royals Celebrate Double Baby Joy." The outlet did not cite any "royal insiders" or "sources," but only stated Markle's early stage into pregnancy makes her "noticeably large," so the outlet asserted the royal couple would be expecting "two babies."
The tabloid then contends Markle covered her "bump with not one but two purple folders" during their visit in Australia for a royal tour along with her husband, so it prompted further speculation about them expecting twins. But other than that, the publication didn't mention other details about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex expecting twins.
It's worth noting that, during an event in Australia, Prince Harry talked about for the first time how excited he was to share the news that he and his wife are expecting their first baby together, obviously, he said "baby," not "babies" so it's clear to say that they are only expecting one baby - not twins. Moreover, the official statement from Kensington Palace last October 15 noted, "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019" - which pointed out "a baby" not "twins."
According to Gossip Cop, the claim of the tabloid is pure fiction and only based on speculations. But in fact, the royal couple is only expecting one baby. What's more is that the same outlet claimed months before Markle and Prince Harry's wedding that the Duchess of Sussex will be a "runaway bride," but their wedding has passed and that never happened. But then, the tabloid once again claimed in June that Markle's completely estranged dad confirmed her daughter was expecting twins, but that claim has been proved to be fabricated as well.
Even since Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot, rumors about them expecting twins continue to emerge. For instance, Life & Style magazine also wrongly reported the Duchess of Sussex "found out [they are expecting twins] two days before the wedding," so she's pregnant while walking down the aisle. That would make her five months pregnant, but that doesn't match with the Kensington Palace announcement where she's due in the "Spring of 2019."
