An important announcement has been made by Epic Games regarding the Fortnite glider re-deploy feature. The re-deploy feature was originally introduced in Soaring 50's, since then, it has been available in every Fortnite game mode during a week-long testing period. Epic Games has revealed that this feature is here to stay, based on those results.
A report from vgr reveals that an announcement has been made by Epic Games went on to reveal that it intends to retain Fortnite's glider re-deploy mechanic that it's been testing based on the "positive results" that it got from the experiment.
The new Glider feature was unveiled over a week ago, it will allow the players to have the opportunity to deploy the gliders whenever they're falling from around three stories in the air.
This mechanic was first seen in the Soaring 50's game mode that let players re-deploy their gliders from different heights. Epic Games revealed that its intention was to test the feature as an addition to all the game modes.
This mechanics renders the players able to navigate during situations such as high-up build fights without having to use another tool. In a statement made by Epic Games, they've pointed out that: "We've finished our first week of Glider Re-deploy being available in all modes," Epic Games said. "During this time we've been collecting internal data and monitoring constructive feedback from all of you. We understand that not all players agree with this change, but we would like to continue with this functionality in the game based on the positive results we've been seeing."
It also added that the feature will remain available and the updates will keep on being added to it. We'll also see new audio improvements being prioritized over the weapon audio. There are plans to unveil the additional changes from the v6.21 update planned for releases.
In its post, Epic Games also noted that positive feedback that's been received, although some players who were discussing the change online suggested that meaningful feedback might've been hard to obtain with the ongoing Fortnitemares event that happens to be live at the moment.
he Game Map also has additional Cube Monsters that were integrated into the event. As we already know, the monsters are zombie-like creatures that attacked players and added a PvE element to the battle royale mode.

There are two variables at play at the same time. However, it appears as though the Epic Games will continue to test the glider re-deploy feature and make improvements accordingly. This comes shortly after the Fortnitemares event.
The Fortnite community coordinator Sean "MrPopoTFS" Hamilton, responded to the same concern saying that all the feedback was welcome provided it was constructive in nature. The concerns were raised on Reddit. "Both positive and negative feedback is valuable, as long as it's constructive," the community coordinator said. "Let us know how you feel, why you feel that way, and start discussions with your fellow players. We look forward to hearing what you have to say and will be closely monitoring this feedback. Thanks a bunch!"
