Considered as the "deadliest wildfire," about 31 people and thousands of business establishments were destroyed completely as the blaze roar mightily creating fear and havoc to everyone in California. One of those who witnessed the wrath of God first-hand was the "Wrecking Ball" singer Miley Cyrus.
The pop singer showed her sentiments towards what happened to her family and properties in relation to the recent wildfire that happened in their community. A recent update on Cyrus' Twitter account showed her being devastated after their two-year-old $2.5 million two-story Malibu Mansion was one of the houses that have been completely burned out.
The singer added though it seems she lost a lot in the incident, she still considers herself lucky for being alive. She expressed her joy as everyone she loves is safe saying, "I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that's all that matters now.
Cyrus also shared her realization of what happened. According to her, though their house is gone now, the memories created between its four walls are still in her heart, which the fires can't snatch away. That's what's more important, and she's grateful for that.
Moreover, Miley encourages her followers and people around the globe to extend a hand to those who were affected by the wildfire especially those who need it the most. She posted on her Twitter account ways on how her friends, supporters, fans, and followers can become a part in healing their community.
Some of Miley's fans admired the singer for being sympathetic even if she is also one of the victims of the tragedy. Twitter user @lovesmileylove commented on her post saying, "Miley you are a great person. To sympathize with other people, even though you are victim in feeling great. I love you very much."
The "We Can't Stop" singer was currently out of the country when the incident happened. This is what makes it even much harder for the singer, according to a source. She felt helpless since she can't do anything to save her things and her animals. E! News posted, though she was feeling so down because of all the things she lost, she is still so thankful her animals were all saved and are still doing well.
One good thing that rooted out of this bad situation is how Cyrus and her fiancé Liam Hemsworth became more dependent towards each other. Though the couple still can't believe what happened, the source shared, "they've been leaning on each other for support."
