Let's all uncover the magical surprise Walt Disney is to release not just for children but also to kids-at-heart. The big-eared flying baby elephant Dumbo is all ready to hit the big screen real soon.
During the 52nd Annual Country Music Association Awards broadcast on ABC, Walt Disney Pictures shared the full trailer of the newest jewel in the entertainment industry, Tim Burton's live-action Dumbo movie.
The newest Disney movie's director shared how he loved the story of Dumbo ever since and promised to keep the important elements that made its viewers fall in love with it. Burton shared, "'Dumbo' was always one of my favorite Disney films." He also added how their production team is "trying to give it the same heart, feeling, and emotion that we all loved about the original."
The movie, which will be based on the 1941 animated Disney classic "Dumbo," will feature the best movie actors of this new generation, which include Irish actor Colin Farrell as Holt Farrier (one of the lead characters), child actors Finley Hobbins as Joe Farrier and Nico Parker as Milly Farrier (Holt Farrier's children), Golden Globe winner Danny DeVito as Max Medici (the story's circus owner), Michael Keaton as V.A. Vandevere (the entrepreneur), and Eva Green as Colette Marchant, who is the story's aerial artist, as posted by the Broadway World.
The story will revolve around the life of Holt Farrier (Farrell) and his kids and how they took care for a new-born elephant, which they named Dumbo.
Their adventure begins after the circus owner Max Medici asked Holt to care for Dumbo after he decides to get back to the circus after the war. Since their circus is already not generating enough income that time, they believe Dumbo's oversized ears can be the asset that can add fun to the viewers of their struggling business.
It was when Joe and Milly Farrier, the daughter and son of Holt, found out about Dumbo's unique flying ability that revived their circus dying fate completely, according to Daily Mail. The word about the flying elephant spread like fire among the people from near and far.
The new Disney movie will be filmed at Cardington Studios and Pinewood Studios in hopes to get the best details and visuals for the film. It will be released in the U.S. by March 29, 2019, and will be available in Real D 3D, IMAX 3D, IMAX and Dolby Cinema.
