No one will ever be prouder of the accomplishments of a son but his mother. Britain's Queen Elizabeth recently showed how proud she is of his son Prince Charles by sharing a touching, sweet message for him during his 70th birthday.

As she gave her toast, the Queen said, "Over his 70 years, Philip and I have seen Charles become a champion of conservation and the arts, a great charitable leader - a dedicated and respectable heir to the throne to stand comparison with any in history - and a wonderful father."

In her public message, she also commends the prince's wife Camilla as one of the reasons why his son was so inspired and was at his best by saying, "Most of all, sustained by his wife Camilla, he is his own man, passionate and creative."

The firstborn of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth further acclaimed, "So this toast is to wish a happy birthday to my son, in every respect a duchy original. To you Charles. To the Prince of Wales."

Earlier the event, the Queen shared how glad she was since she was given the privilege to be able to celebrate his son's 70th birthday and to propose a toast for the celebration. For her, to live long enough to witness and celebrate this special occasion with your son is a privilege not given to all, according to Standard.co.

The monarch even used an analogy of a tree to explain the happiness she felt that time. She added, "It is rather like - to use an analogy I am certain will find favor - planting a tree and being able to watch it grow."

Held in Buckingham Palace's ballroom on Wednesday, royals from all around the globe gathered to celebrate one of the most significant events in the history of London, which was hosted by the Queen herself in her son's honor.

Some of those who attended the prince's formal dinner party where King Juan Carlos of Spain, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, and Princess Eugenie with her husband, Jack Brooksbank. His two sons and their wives, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, were also there to celebrate his birthday with him.

During his birthday celebration, the Prince of Wales was seen wearing an elegant black tuxedo while his lovely wife the Duchess of Cornwall was all glamorous and sophisticated in her navy blue Bruce Oldfield gown. Hello Magazine said it took many months of preparation for this prestigious event to finally happen.
