Another fairytale has finally closed its book for good. That's when the celebrity couple Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka decided to end their relationship 10 months after they have been engaged.

"Paris broke up with Chris a few weeks ago," an insider of E! Online shares. "Their relationship moved really quickly, and she realized he wasn't right for her," he added.

Though their love story didn't quite end well, the insider stressed out how the heiress still wants the best for her ex-fiancé. No matter what happened to them, Hilton still wants the two of them to become friends.

Although it appears the breakup is a result of a mutual decision, other sources claim the American actor seems to be more affected of what happened. "The Leftovers" star has always been affectionate, sweet and blatant with his feelings for Hilton that he even get himself inked with a big Paris' name in Disney font in his forearm.

On the other hand, Hilton seems to be doing better now as she took time to post on her Instagram account a black and white video featuring her sexy self with a caption, "Miss Independent." Though the breakup has surely brought pain and sadness over the heiress, the video appears to be her declaration she'll get through this no matter what.

It was just this January when Zylka got down on his knee and proposed to Hilton with a 2 million US dollars or almost 14 million Chinese Yuan "dream diamond" engagement ring in the midst of the freezing atmosphere in Aspen, Colorado.

It can be recalled how their wedding date was pushed back from its original schedule several months ago. Hilton exclaimed they were too busy to pursue November 2018 as their wedding date especially with the schedule she has right now. "I want to be able to be relaxed, not stressed out and not having to rush off to a different country the next day," she told People.

Though other posts claim their busy schedule is the main reason for this breakup, some still think there's more to it.

With regards to the 2M diamond engagement ring, followers are now getting more intrigued of what the ex-couple will do with it. But TMZ reports the ex-couple haven't had a chance to talk about it yet. Neither Hilton has made a move to give a ring back, nor Zylka reached out to his ex-fiancé to give him back the jewelry.
