Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are not heading for a $1.2 billion divorce, despite the report of a tabloid this week. The spouses aren't in the midst of splitting, and there's no proof that their marriage is "over."
OK! Magazine claims Victoria and David are now preparing to divide their "$1.2 billion empires." The evidence, according to the outlet, is when Victoria accepted the Fashion Icon Award at the People's Choice Awards on November 11 in Los Angeles in which she focused her speech on "women empowerment" and only mentioned her husband at the end.
And then, the so-called "source" of the tabloid contends the designer was "in tears" following her husband's remarks on the Australian show, "The Sunday Project," in October where he said marriage is "hard work." Now, Victoria allegedly lost her will to save their "crumbling marriage."
The publication further claims the reason why Victoria didn't join the Spice Girls reunion tour this coming 2019 is because she's preparing herself to end her marriage. The unidentifiable source noted the designer needs time and strength to deal with her problems.
According to Gossip Cop, there's no truth with OK! Magazine's report and it was only based on their non-existent source. A rep for Victoria confirmed that the tabloid's story is "rubbish" and a spokesperson for David also denied the report.
Also, Victoria shuts down divorce rumors in the October 2018 issue of British Vogue, saying she and David were pretty used to ignoring the nonsense. The designer also expressed they are stronger together than they are as individuals. Meanwhile, the reason why Victoria decided not to join the Spice Girls reunion is that she no longer considered herself as a music performer, and it has nothing to do with the alleged $1.2 billion divorce.
It's also worth noting that OK! Magazine has been repeating this angle for years now. For instance, the tabloid was busted by Gossip Cop in 2016 for claiming the spouses were heading for a "$1 billion divorce shocker," which was only debunked later on and confirmed to be fabricated. But still, the same outlet claimed once again in 2017 the couple will end their marriage after "18 years of being together," and, just this January 2018, the tabloid maintained again the two were heading for a divorce.
None of these claims were confirmed to be true. Therefore, the latest report of OK! Magazine claiming Victoria and David are heading for a $1.2 billion divorce is similarly false as well.
