Finally, the "Under You" singer Nick Jonas and the Indian actress, singer and film producer Priyanka Chopra have officially tied the knot.
The couple's final celebration of love happened on Sunday at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan in Chopra's home country as a part of her traditional Hindu belief. The event happened after the couple has exchanged their promises at a Christian wedding officiated by Pastor Kevin Jonas Sr, who also happens to be Nick's father.
The event has been made even more romantic with the beauty of Mehrangarh Fort as the palace's backdrop. Mehrangarh is considered as one of the seven wonders of India together with the Golden Temple in Punjab, the Monolithic Gomateshwara Statue in Karnataka, and Nalanda University in Bihar.
Aside from Chopra's family celebrating the event with them, Nick's family has also traveled half of the world just to be able to witness this important event. These include his parents Pastor Kevin and Denise Jonas, his brothers Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Frankie Jonas, and his brothers' loved one's Sophie Turner and Danielle Jonas.
During their wedding, the bride and the groom can be seen wearing a custom Ralph Lauren wedding attire. So did all their families, their bridesmaids, and groomsmen.
Lauren was an important person to the couple, but this was not just the reason why he was chosen to be the designer of the prestigious event. According to People, he was chosen to be their stylist since it was through his works that the couple had known each other. That was after they have both been invited to Ralph Lauren Collection at the 2017 Met Gala.
The celebrity couple's wedding ceremony happened four months after Jonas presented a high-quality cushion cut 4-carat diamond ring to Chopra while popping the question "Mujhse shaadi karogi?"
A source shared that the most highlighted in the event was the bride and how beautiful she was with her Indian wedding outfit. He said the bride looked "breathtaking in her traditional red Indian wedding outfit."
During the Hindu wedding, the couple has to follow several rituals. The event has started with Nick arriving on a horse. After that, he and his bride rode an elephant before engaging in the garland exchange ceremony.
"Nick did a beautiful job following the customs of a Hindu ceremony, it was lovely seeing how they honoured both of their heritages," an insider shared to E! News.
