An insider claimed that Arya plays a big role in the climactic battle between the humans and the undead in Game of Thrones Season 8. All her training in Braavos to become a skilled assassin comes handy in the fight against the Night King.

A Reddit user who goes by the name of u/TaraTinker19 believes that Arya's training was in preparation for her fight with the White Walkers in the final season. The youngest of the Stark siblings went through rigorous training to be among the Faceless Men during her stay in Braavos. She learned to fight while being blindfolded and this skill supposedly comes handy in defeating the wights.

"The battle takes place at night and guess who knows how to fight in the dark?"

However, it is unclear whether the big fight does happen at night, but if it does, then Arya (Maisie Williams) has an advantage over the others. She could likely defeat more White Walkers than the rest.

It is also interesting to point out that that the casts filmed the epic battle scene at night. According to Entertainment Weekly, it took "55 nights" to film the outdoor scenes for this much-anticipated battle sequence in Game of Thrones Season 8.

Meanwhile, the remaining scenes were filmed in the studio. This report seemingly confirms that the war happens in the dark, which is in Arya's favor since she knows how to fight without sight.

"I know in Bravos she was blinded as a punishment but I think it was mostly done for her final arc in fighting the Army of the dead."

There is also the possibility that the battle stretches from night to day or vice versa. Actor Vladimír Furdík, who plays the Night King, revealed details about the epic war in a recent interview. He said that the battle happens in Episode 3 of Game of Thrones Season 8 and that it takes about an hour of the episode.

One thing is for sure though, and that is fans will see more of Arya's skills in Game of Thrones Season 8. After all, she knows how to copy faces and manipulate people. She is bound to showcase more of her skills than when she sparred with Brienne in Season 7 when she had fought with the styles of the Faceless Men and with the roughness of the Hound.
