Just like in the real world, Eiichiro Oda wanted to inject a touch of reality to his creation in "One Piece." So, the 43-year-old artist created an old image of Roronoa Zoro and revealed how he would like.

"One Piece" has been around for over 20 years, but its characters are still in their prime. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates still as young as before, so fans want to see how they look when they age.

According to Comic Book, after looking to Zoro's future in "One Piece" when a new SBS volume went live, Eiichiro Oda answered fans' questions. But he didn't just entertain queries as he also granted a supporter's request.

A fan asked Eiichiro Oda how Zoro would like when he aged, so the artist revealed what they wanted to see. The "One Piece" creator drew older Zoro in two versions, so his followers would have an idea what would be his image if things neither went out good nor bad for him.

"If he survived that long, it would be like this," Eiichiro Oda captioned four images of Zoro at 40 and 60-years-old. The sketch has two rows; his looks when "One Piece" story rolls out as planned and if take a different route.

On the top row, Zoro looks very well. His spiky hair turns into a slick back. He also looks the same when he turns 60, only that he has more wrinkles. On the second row, Zoro goes half bald and has missing teeth. If his future in "One Piece" turns dark, at 60, he will be completely toothless and has bad facial hair.

Meanwhile, aside from the manga and anime series, fans are also waiting for the release of "One Piece" movie. After the rumors get confirmed that a film adaptation would be out, viewers couldn't help themselves but get excited to see it on the big screen.

So to treat their fans, the anime's team finally released its official release date in a short trailer on YouTube. From the looks of it, the "One Piece" movie would be out to honor the franchise's 20th anniversary.

The clip features Luffy as a kid who eventually grows up as the Straw Hat Pirate leader. Here, he looks very determined to be the King of the Pirates. The video also shows "One Piece" famous scenes, and even reveals Ace and Robin's appearances. It then confirmed the movie's title, "One Piece: Stampede."

"One Piece: Stampede" will be out on August 9, 2019. Toe Animation will be overseeing the movie just like what it did to the franchise's other films.
