Channing Tatum isn't planning to propose to Jessie J over the holidays, despite the claim of the latest report. A tabloid alleged the actor he's now ready to settle down and walk down the aisle with his girlfriend of just two months. This story has been debunked and confirmed to be untrue.

One of OK! Magazine latest headlines declare, "Channing's Christmas Proposal!" The accompanying article cited a so-called source, claiming the actor has no reasons to wait and he knew Jessie was the one he'll be marrying the first time they met.

The unidentifiable tipster asserted Tatum doesn't care if it's too early for them to tie the knot, and even though it's only been eight months since he and Jenna Dewan separated. The actor allegedly feels his singer girlfriend is his soul mate, and he's sure Jessie feels the same way as well. Then, the source declared she would say "yes" to his proposal.

According to Gossip Cop, the entire claim is entirely fabricated and only based on an untraceable and nonexistent source. A rep for Tatum confirmed that this latest claim is untrue, and he has no plans to propose to Jessie over the holidays.

It's also worth mentioning that Tatum and Dewan's divorce was not yet finalized. That means the actor is still technically married, so it's unlikely he's rushing things and wanted to get married as soon as possible. Following their appearance together on the public, some gossip media outlets started making fabricated news about their relationship.

OK! Magazine, in particular, has little to zero insight regarding the personal life of the actor. The tabloid was busted two months ago for claiming he and Amber Heard were secretly dating and they were planning to move in together. But a few weeks after reporting that, news emerged that the actor was dating Jessie - not Heard.

In April, the same tabloid attempted to make a false narrative that Angelina Jolie wants to date Tatum. At that time, the outlet wrongly reported the actress was planning to set up a meeting with him so they can work together, but her real "motive" was to pursue him. That incident never even happened either.

Recently, Gossip Cop also debunked the claim of NW magazine that Jessie and Tatum were now living under the same roof. Then a few weeks after that, the same outlet reported the singer was planning to dump the actor so that she can be with Ruby Rose. None of these claims occurred as well.
