Netflix has yet to announce the coming of "Making a Murderer" Season 3, but its creators Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos already hinted its possible return. Although the streaming network and the filmmakers are both mums of its future, Brendan Dassey's lawyers Laura Nirider and Steven Drizin revealed their plans for their client.

Nirider and Drizin vowed to continue working on Brendan Dassey's case, although "Making a Murderer" Season 3's return is still up in the air. "Brendan is right now in the same position Steven Avery was in at the end of season one, in terms of his legal options," Nirider said at their recent public talk called "False Confessions" in London, per Express.co.uk.

The two lawyers said that Brendan Dassey could still file a post-conviction petition and present new evidence of innocence or proofs of constitutional violations. Despite being in prison for so long, the "Making a Murderer" star still has a lot of "avenues open to him."

Nirider and Drizin promised that neither of them has plans to give up Brendan Cassey's case. So if ever Netflix green lights "Making a Murderer" Season 3, the two will be probably back to the show.

Of course with his lawyers' return, fans will also see Brendan Dassey in "Making a Murderer" Season 3 along with his uncle, Steven Avery. With the latter's new legal counsel, Kathleen Zellner, who created a big noise by revealing new evidence, their case is far from over.

As Zellner remains to be a big name in Steven Avery's case, she, too, will probably return to "Making a Murderer" Season 3. She is even continuously updating her Twitter followers and fans alike about her client's case and her works.

The expectations are high that there will be "Making a Murderer" Season 3 as Steven Avery, and Brendan Dassey are still in prison. Moira earlier hinted the documentary's possible return.

"Maybe [there could be a third season]...," Moira told Cosmopolitan about "Making a Murderer" Season 3's future. "I heard that documentaries come in tens!"

If ever there will be "Making a Murderer" Season 3, it may feature Zellner's moves to search for some mistakes within Steven Avery's case. She, too, may look if her client's Constitutional rights get violated, and her efforts to find new evidence to free him from prison.

"For us, the questions of continuing past this Part Two will be the same questions that were there when we finished Part One," Moira continued to say. "What is the story that's taking place at this point? Can we maintain or gain access to it and does it offer something new? So we will continue asking those questions."
