It seems as though the negative rumors the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are facing these past weeks are now taking its toll to the royal couple's emotional state.
"It [the rumors] has put pressure on her relationship with Harry. He's very frustrated with how little can be done," a source shared to Us Weekly. He also added how the Prince is experiencing disappointments now that he hasn't been able to do anything to protect her lovely wife from the negative issues thrown at her.
The source further exclaimed it has been hard for the Prince to keep her Princess away from the trolls that try to bring her down. Despite having that responsibility to protect her from harm and from people that will surround her with negativities, the Duke felt helpless as he acknowledges his weakness during this time.
"Keeping her away from the negativity and harm has been hard for him. It's been his purpose in their relationship to keep her away from the negativity," he added.
On the other hand, Meghan is now seeing everything "frustrating and stressful" as royal protocol disallows her to "stand up for herself" amid the issues, according to News.
An insider close to the Duchess said, "She's always relied on her own voice to stand up for others, and for herself. So not being able to say anything is a debilitating feeling."
The insider also shared how the Duchess has always been independent all her life. He believes that with the royal protocol beside her, Meghan is now limited to express herself boldly. It's as if her strong features are "all been taken away from her."
As a part of the protocol, the royals are not allowed to have their social media accounts. Given this, Meghan reportedly deactivated her Twitter and Instagram, the platforms where she was able to share not just her most beautiful pictures but also her stories to her fans and families, few weeks before she tied the knot with Prince Harry.
The Duchess' name has recently been a hot topic in a lot of issues on the internet recently. Though the royal staffs have always been silent about these rumors, these issues won't seem to die itself.
