Angelina Jolie and Justin Theroux did not go on a secret vacation in Cabo, Mexico together, despite the recent claim of a tabloid this week. This report has been debunked and corrected.
One of the latest covers of Life & Style magazine this week showed a photo of Jolie and Theroux, claiming they have been dating for several months now. The tabloid alleged the two recently jetted off to Mexico and went on a secret Cabo vacation.
A so-called source of the outlet asserted Jolie and Theroux used the name "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" to book a room in a hotel, and it was said to be the favorite hotel of the actor's ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston. Allegedly, the "secret couple" had a hard time giving their alias, as it can be recalled the actress met her ex-husband Brad Pitt while filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith movie in 2005.
The unidentifiable tipster further contends the two have a lot more in common than Theroux and Aniston ever did. What's more is that Jolie is just the actor's type, particularly because she's sophisticated, sexy, and has a rock 'n' roll streak.
Then, the alleged source talked about Aniston, saying she isn't aware of "romance" of the two, and if she finds out, she will go totally ballistic - not because she's still in love with Theroux, but because Jolie stole her man once - Pitt - and she's doing it again now.
At first, according to the source, Jolie's original plan was to pursue Theroux to get revenge on Aniston, but she had fallen for the actor. The unnamed insider concluded both of them developed feelings for each other, and they're having a great time on their secret vacation in Cabo.
As per Gossip Cop, this narrative is just a continuation of Life & Style's claim in September in which it reported at that time Jolie invited Theroux in New York City to have dinner with her and discuss a movie project, but her motive was to seduce the actor.
But then, the tabloid didn't even mention where they supposedly met and didn't also provide photos to support its claim. Regardless, a rep for the actor confirmed he never had dinner with then actress.
Still, the same tabloid claimed once again in October that Jolie and Theroux were dating and they spent some time together since late summer. The actor's rep assured dating, and romance rumors between the two were not true at all.
Meanwhile, the image provided by the tabloid on its latest cover is an image of Theroux wearing a backpack while strolling in New York and it was taken back in July 2013. The actor's spokesperson also said the latest claim is absurd, while a source close to Jolie confirmed to Gossip Cop the report is entirely fabricated.
