CBRE Clarion Global Real Estate Income Fund recently announced the appointment of a new trustee to its Board. The Board of Trustees welcomes Leslie E. Greis, reported Business Wire. Greis will join the board effective January 1, 2019.

Leslie, according to chairman Ritson Ferguson of IGR's board, brings along with her experience in real estate investment as well as years of expertise, enough to possess valued perspective in the industry. The chairman further reiterated Greis' joining as a valuable asset to the Board, and that the company and the Board of Trustees were looking forward to working with her and her future contributions to the company.

CBRE Clarion Global has been certainly busy these past few weeks. Aside from the business with Leslie Greis, it had dealings with Wells Fargo & Company MN. The stakeholder lowered its holdings in CBRE to 2.3% during the third quarter. About 3,783,191 shares of the closed-end fund were in Wells Fargo's ownership during the third quarter.

Fair Field Current reported that other institutional investors have also bought into or removed itself from the investor. During the second quarter, HL Financial Services LLC managed to add to its holdings, hiking its owned shares up to 138,917. These became valued at $1,047,000 after the addition of 19,399 shares during that last quarter.

BlackRock Inc., meanwhile, managed to add holdings by about 104,133.3%. This hiked up BlackRock Inc.'s stakes to 312,700 worth $2,357,000. Rounding up the companies with interests in the stock is Stephens Inc. AR at $916,000 and Raymond James & Associates which holds 9.3% during the second quarter. Raymond James & Associates became the proud owner of about 144,479 shares of the closed-end fund, with a value of $1,089,000.

CBRE Clarion Global reiterated their pleasure in Greis' inclusion to the Board of Trustees. Leslie Greis is known as the founder and a member of Perennial Capital Advisors, LLC's management. SHe is also a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM).

CBRE Clarion Global Real Estate Income Fund, meanwhile, has a focus in investing in various property types which included apartment, healthcare, hotels, industrials, office, retail, and storage. It also included investments in public equity markets in different parts of the world, most notably developed markets in Asia, Australasia, Europe, and North America.
