Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are not planning to move to India following their recent wedding. This latest claim has been debunked and proved to be untrue. The two has no current plans to move to the country right now.
Jonas and Chopra recently got married in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Jodhpur, India, and just last week, the newlyweds held their second reception in Mumbai. Now, National Enquirer claims India is not just a location for their wedding parties because the country will also be the spouses' new home.
The tabloid cited a source saying Jonas fell in love with Chopra's native country and culture, so they are now looking for a new home in India. The alleged tipster contends the singer has also been getting some offers to star in Bollywood movies.
"America might be losing Nick, but we still have a few other Jonas brothers!" the unidentifiable source further added.
According to Gossip Cop, this report is inaccurate and only comes from a non-existent source. Chopra's rep confirmed to Gossip Cop that the claim of National Enquirer is untrue and the spouses have no plans to move and relocate to India.
It's worth noting that Chopra's family lived in India, so it's just usual she and her husband frequently visit the country. The actress has also been living in both Los Angeles and New York over the past years as she wanted to focus on her career. There's no indication that she's planning to leave her career in Hollywood and just settle down in India. Additionally, just a few months ago, Architectural Digest reported Jonas and Chopra "will soon move" on their $6.5 million Beverly Hills home.
Meanwhile, several tabloids have frequently been reporting celebrities and couples have plans to leave their careers to settle down outside the Hollywood scenes. Gossip Cop busted the sister magazine of National Enquirer, OK! Magazine, last October for wrongly reporting Justin Timberlake and his wife Jessica Biel plans to live Los Angeles and will be moving to Tennessee, but that claim never happened.
National Enquirer also reported earlier this year Ben Affleck will be quitting Hollywood, and then he'll move to a farm in upstate New York. Another sister outlet of the tabloid, RadarOnline, claims Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will also quit Hollywood and both of them will move to the Midwest.
The tabloid and its sister publications have been making false narratives about celebrities leaving Hollywood to settle down elsewhere. Hence, the latest report about Jonas and Chopra planning to move to India is similarly false as well.
