Jamie Foxx didn't dump Katie Holmes during her 40th birthday, despite the claim of the latest report this week. The two were still together and both happy with each other.
Life & Style magazine claimed Foxx decided to end his relationship with Holmes while celebrating her 40th birthday last December 18. A so-called source of the tabloid asserted the actress thought her boyfriend would propose to her during her birthday, but he dumped her instead. The two were now totally done, the untraceable insider insisted.
Foxx allegedly dumped Holmes over the phone, he just called the actress and told her he needed space, and he was pretty blunt. The source contends the reason why the actor broke up with his girlfriend is that he's tired of her reluctance to be more open about their relationship. Allegedly, the actor thinks the actress will never be ready to commit, and he couldn't wait any longer, so he decided to end their relationship because he believes that's the best for the both of them.
Then, the unidentifiable tipster alleged Holmes was shocked when she found out Foxx wanted a break. The actress reportedly hoped her birthday would also be the day they'll be engaged, but that didn't happen. She allegedly sobbed and told her boyfriend to wait a little longer after asking her to end their relationship.
As per Gossip Cop, this claim is not true at all, and the report was likely written before Holmes' 40th birthday, which makes it entirely fabricated. A source close to the actress also confirmed to Gossip Cop that the tabloid's article is completely a made-up story.
People magazine reported Holmes celebrated her birthday with Foxx at Serendipity in New York City, and the actress's mom, Kathleen, joined them as well. The outlet noted the relationship of the two was getting more serious.
It's also worth mentioning Holmes and Foxx have been frequently spotted having date nights this year, and there's no indication the actress is keeping their relationship a secret. People magazine further noted they are not as concerned about keeping their relationship private.
Meanwhile, Life & Style magazine has frequently been making false claims about Holmes and Foxx. Just last year, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for claiming the actress was pregnant with the actor's baby. That claim didn't even happen as Holmes was never seen having a baby bump nor giving birth. And in February, the same outlet wrongly reported the couple wanted to have a baby together, but that wasn't true either.
