Scarlett Johansson is not nervous and worried about spending holidays with Colin Jost's parents, despite the claim of a recent report. This story has been debunked and proved to be entirely fabricated.
One of the headlines from Star magazine declares, "Scar-Jo's Holiday In-Law Jitters," and the accompanying article claims the actress will be celebrating Christmas with Jost and his parents and she's really worried she might not make a good impression during her visit.
The tabloid cited an alleged source saying Johansson has already met her boyfriend's family and they were all polite. However, the actress allegedly thinks it's too early for their relationship to meet each other's family, and now, they are getting more serious. The untraceable insider further asserted Jost is close with his family, and spending holidays together is traditional and a big deal in their house, which has the actress a jittery mess.
But, according to Gossip Cop, Johansson and Jost didn't spend holidays with his family. During the Christmas day, the couple was spotted arriving in Argentina. The actress sported an olive green jumpsuit, red Converse sneakers, and baseball cap, while the "Saturday Night Live" star looked casual in a white tee and sweats.
And then the following day, the couple was spotted once again strolling through the town of Palermo in Buenos, Aires. They celebrated Christmas with a romantic getaway for just the two of them - without Jost's parents. The alleged source of the tabloid has little to zero insight about the couple's holiday plans, or the said source of the outlet might not be existing at all.
It's also worth noting that Star magazine has been making false narratives about Johansson and Jost's relationship. For instance, Gossip Cop busted the outlet back in October 2017 for claiming the SNL star proposed to the actress, but a year has already passed, and the two didn't announce their alleged engagement.
Meanwhile, OK! Magazine - the sister publication of the tabloid - wrongly reported the couple got engaged during Thanksgiving celebration, but that didn't happen as well. And just last year, another sister outlet - National Enquirer - asserted the two were rushing to the altar.
As per Gossip Cop, the articles created by these outlets were just a work of fictions and didn't even fact-check their claims. Hence, this latest report Johansson is nervous spending holidays with Jost's parents is similarly false, as the couple spent Christmas together - just the two of them.
