Angelina Jolie isn't planning to steal David Beckham from his wife Victoria Beckham, whom he married for almost 20 years. This story has been corrected; the actress isn't planning to ruin the marriage of the spouses.
Star magazine's latest issue claims that when Jolie went on a trip to London during the Thanksgiving weekend, the English retired professional footballer has caught her eye and she's been "crushing" on him since then. The outlet cited an alleged source, but it failed to mention where the two allegedly crossed paths. Still, the unnamed source contends the actress has constantly been texting him and asking him to collaborate on a charity project together.
Allegedly, a lot of people believe Jolie's just using it as an excuse, but her real motive is to get close to David. The alleged source said the actress is determined to steal the former football player from his wife, Victoria. The unidentifiable tipster then added the timing is right as the spouses were allegedly "on the brink of a divorce."
The source asserted David and Victoria have been living separate lives for months now, and they have nothing in common, aside from their kids. The insider insists Jolie wants the athlete to join forces on a philanthropic endeavor and she's hoping to make their connection "physical." The actress is also willing to move to London if ever their romance will be given a chance.
Meanwhile, Victoria allegedly warned David not to sign any project with Jolie, but he isn't listening to her advice. The untraceable source concludes the athlete was used to women throwing themselves at him, but he's flattered and impressed that the Jolie is after him.
According to Gossip Cop, the entire report is fabricated and isn't original. It can be noted that NW magazine was already busted back in November for claiming Jolie has been "quietly crushing" on David, and she's sending him "secret texts." At that time, the outlet alleged the actress reached out to the athlete, and they talked about collaborating on a charity project, but her real motive is to get close to him.
That claim was already debunked, and a rep for David confirmed to Gossip Cop that there's no truth about the report. So, Star magazine only recycled a claim that was already busted a few months ago. Also, it's unlikely the spouses are living separate lives as they threw a New Year's Eve party at their home in London and some of their friends and family members were invited. David also posted a clip on his Instagram story wherein he and his wife were sharing a New Year's kiss in front of a massive fireworks display.
Meanwhile, Jolie and Brad Pitt's custody agreement has yet to be settled, so the claim she's trying to steal a married man amid her legal battle is nonsense. A source close to the actress also confirmed to Gossip Cop that she's not dating at all and she's focused on her kids.
