A recent report claims Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk are frequently fighting because the actor refuses to marry her. But, this story has been corrected and was proved the claim is entirely made-up.
Cooper and Shayk started dating back in 2015, and they share a nearly two-year-old daughter, but the couple hasn't tied the knot yet. Now, Star magazine claims the model was fed up with the actor's unwillingness to marry her, and she's ready to end their relationship if he doesn't propose anytime soon.
An alleged source of the tabloid said Shayk expected Cooper would marry her after she gave birth to their daughter in March 2017. The actor married actress Jennifer Esposito back in 2006, but their marriage only lasted for about a year. The unnamed tipster contends that's the main reason why the actor isn't proposing to his girlfriend because he's still "scarred" by the whole thing.
The source added Cooper wanted to keep their relationship that way, but Shayk is frustrated as she wanted to get married. Allegedly, the actor does not want to be pressured, but his girlfriend thinks they should be married by now.
According to Gossip Cop, Star magazine's claim is baseless and completely made-up. Cooper and Shayk keep their relationship private, although the couple attends some events together. For instance, the model supported her beau at the Golden Globes last Sunday, and Harper's Bazaar even made an article noting the two snuck in lots of PDA during the ceremony.
Shayk was spotted fixing Cooper's tie while they were on their table. She was also photographed resting her head on his shoulder and putting her hand on his leg during the awarding. Their PDA moments show the couple isn't on the verge of breaking up due to an alleged disagreement about getting married.
Also, some speculated Cooper and Shayk are secretly engaged since the model has been seen wearing the same emerald diamond on several occasions. This is still a pure assumption by some as the couple hasn't confirmed if they are indeed engaged, or the ring was just a jewelry Shayk always wears on occasions.
Meanwhile, it's worth noting Star magazine has constantly been making false narratives about Cooper and Shayk. Just recently, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for claiming the actor forced his girlfriend to give up modeling, and then reported after a few days he refused to invite his girlfriend to the A Star Is Born premiere because he wanted to walk the red carpet with his co-star Lady Gaga. Both claims were confirmed to be fabricated.
