"The Big Bang Theory" muse Kaley Cuoco doesn't seem like she's ready to end her long-running sitcom. The actress joked that after the show bows out on the small screen this May, she's willing to do a reboot as soon as 2020.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Cuoco admitted that she still doesn't want to say goodbye to "The Big Bang Theory" after season 12. But while the show will live on in rebroadcasts and syndications, Cuoco kidded that she's already on board for a reboot to happen in the next year.

Cuoco, who plays Penny in the "The Big Bang Theory," also shared that they have not yet filmed the final episode. However, she's already anticipating that it will be an emotional moment for the cast and crew because everyone will be missing the camaraderie.

It's not the first time, however, that Cuoco expressed she doesn't want the show to end yet. She told Extra around fall last year that she'd love it if "The Big Bang Theory" could go on for 20 more years. The actress also shared that there are no spinoffs talk so far. However, if series creator Chuck Lorre will ask her to work with the same crew again, she will not hesitate and say yes right away.

But Cuoco's co-star Jim Parsons explained to Entertainment Weekly that "The Big Bang Theory" needed to end because they have already exhausted what can happen in the series. For his part, he thinks it's no longer right for his character, Dr. Sheldon Cooper, to keep wearing those iconic shirts on the show when he's in his middle age.

Parsons' character is a significant part of the series, which has become one of the most watched shows in the world. While he is also sad that "The Big Bang Theory" will end, it seems now is the best time to do it.

But it's not really going to be depressing for Cuoco, Parsons and the rest of the cast like Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Melissa Rauch, and Mayim Bialik. Because of the show's stature as a long-running series, these actors are expected to still keep earning money from "Big Bang Theory" reruns as part of their syndication deal with the network.

"Big Bang Theory" season 12 airs on Thursday nights on CBS. The show still has a dozen more episodes to air before it finally says goodbye on television this coming May.
