Julia Roberts is not planning to leave her husband Danny Moder to be with George Clooney, despite the claim of a tabloid. This report has been debunked and confirmed to be a bogus story.

National Enquirer reported Roberts and Moder, who have been married for more than 16 years, are heading for a $245 million divorce. The unnamed tipster of the outlet didn't provide any details as to why the spouses are breaking up, but the source insists the two were living separate lives and they might be facing custody battle over their three kids as well.

The tabloid asserted Roberts turned to Clooney amid her alleged marital problems with Moder. The untraceable source said the actor has always given the actress a shoulder to cry on and he's the first person she always ran to whenever she considered divorcing her husband.

Allegedly, Clooney made himself available to Roberts since he also has marriage problems with wife Amal Clooney. The tipster said the spouses were staying in separate rooms at times and he is happy to lean on the actress while navigating his marriage woes as well. From there, the source speculated a romantic relationship will develop between the two, and they'll be together once their splits become official.

According to Gossip Cop, Roberts and Clooney are not having marriage problems with their respective partners. The story is only based on the claim of a non-existent source, and it is, in fact, a bogus story. Just recently, Us Weekly reported Roberts and Moder had a PDA-filled night at the Golden Globes last Sunday night. The spouses were seen kissing at their table during the awards ceremony. The actress also posted an Instagram photo of her and her husband kissing in their car after buying burgers from In-N-Out.

Clooney and Amal also enjoyed their date night during the United Nations gala in New York City just last month. They were even joined by the actor's parents, and there's no hint they are on the verge of breaking up.

Meanwhile, this isn't the first time National Enquirer reported a wrong story about Roberts and Clooney. Gossip Cop busted the tabloid in 2016 for claiming the two movie stars were cheating on their partners, then, the same tabloid wrongly reported in September 2017 that Roberts and Moder were heading for a $225 million divorce due to her alleged intimate hookup with Richard Gere. None of these claims were proved to be true, and this latest claim is false as well.
