Fortnite has released latest patch V7.10 Content Update #3. There will be new weapons and minor adjustments according to Epic Games. This news has been revealed on Wednesday, Jan. 9.
There will additions for Battle Royale, Creative, and Save the World modes, according to Variety. There will be some changes in the most popular mode, the free to play "Fortnite Battle Royale."
Last December, Epic Games said that The Block would be used to display the best user-generated creations. This week, Fortnite's third and last 7.10 Content Update has become live, and the DM Arena by KojackNumber2 is now available to explore in Battle Royale mode with the new update.
In a previous report, the arena was accidentally revealed by Epic games on Twitter. This revelation appeared online the first location, Grimy Greens, was added to the game.
A post on Epic Games revealed some fun additions on Battle Royale, including the Suppressed Sniper Rifle. This weapon is available in Epic and Legendary variants and it can be found from chests, floor loot, Vending Machines, and Supply Drops.
"14 Days of Fortnite" has been extended. Fortnite players have now some extra time to complete Challenges they missed.
The paid version of Fortnite, "Fortnite Save the World" gets some new weapons: Santa's Little Helper shoots out presents but doesn't consume ammo, and the Popshot Shotgun, a rapid-fire weapon.
Santa's Little Helper is not a very durable weapon. It will be available Jan. 9 to Jan 16. According to patch notes, the Popshot Shotgun "will be available as a Frostnite Weekly Challenge reward." The Weekly Frostnite Challenge 2 has reduced time between when players get hit with new waves of enemies. Rewards include Popshot Shotgun as well as the Challenge Banner 2 and Snowflake Tickets.
Meanwhile, Epic warned gamers that they may experience "client crashes, loss of progress, or other unexpected errors" on Fortnite Creative Mode. The only addition in this mode is the Suppressed Sniper Rifle to the Creative Inventory Weapons. When it comes to specs, these are the same as the Battle Royale mode sniper.
The PUBG Mobile game has been reported earned $455 million on iOS in 2018. This means Epic earns roughly $1.6 million every day since it launched on the Apple store in March 2018.
In December 2018, Epic Games' earned $69 million through its fan-favorite battle royale game. The app was downloaded 5.2 million times - up 52 percent from November 2018, according to GameSpot.
