It is still not February yet, but love is already in the air for Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and former American football player Tim Tebow, as the latter finally proposed to her one true love at his family's farm near Jacksonville, Florida.
Tebow made everything perfect: from the setting and timing of the proposal to the personalized bench they sat in, and to everything else in between, every detail seemed to be so beautiful it looks as though it has been snatched from a fairytale.
Minutes after they talked about their relationship and their future, with the sunset as their witness, Tebow finally dropped the question.
As he dropped to one knee, Nel-Peters said yes, and Tebow put a gorgeous 7.25-carat solitaire ring on her finger.
Tebow's beautiful proposal was then wrapped up with a song entitled "The Wedding Song" played by the South African singer Matthew Mole, which is one of their favorites.
"I actually wasn't really nervous," shares the celebrity athlete. "I was excited. I wanted everything to be perfect and to go smoothly. But I wasn't nervous to actually ask her", he added.
Before the proposal, Nel-Peters doesn't have any idea of the surprise that is about to happen, according to People. Tebow shared that all he told her was that they were only going to visit their family to have a belated Christmas dinner together.
Without her knowing, her friends and families are also present in their engagement party, who even traveled for hours just to witness one of the sweetest proposals that have ever been told in the history.
The beauty queen can't help but share her happiness, love, and a glimpse of what happened to her followers and loved ones, as posted by Rappler. As soon as the engagement party was over, she then posted a picture of her and Tebow as she exclaims her "Yes" in her Instagram account.
The photo, which was made more dramatic because of its nature-filled backdrop, was captioned, "Any dreams I've ever had, you've exceeded them all! I love you and I can't wait to spend forever with you!"
The famous sports athlete also shared the same photo in his Twitter account with a caption that says, "[Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters] Thank you for saying YES and making me the happiest man in the world. You're the love of my life and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you."
