A new report claims Pete Davidson refused help from "Saturday Night Live" castmates and chose to party with Machine Gun Kelly. This report, however, was confirmed to be false and inaccurate.

National Enquirer claims Davidson allegedly chose "partying over therapy." A source of the outlet said that following his several suicidal posts on social media, some of his SNL castmates offered to help him seek treatment, but instead, he reportedly chose to hang out with his rapper pal, MGK.

It can be noted Davidson only posted one alarming message on Instagram, but it has been already deleted. He didn't post "several suicidal posts on social media," despite the claim of the alleged insider. Also, MGK rushed to Davidson following his suicidal post to comfort him, and not to party with him. The rapper tweeted back in December saying "I'm in the plane now on the way to see Pete," adding, "gonna make sure he's good, I promise."

Although it's true Davidson and MGK enjoyed the Golden Globes afterparty, the two weren't spotted out-of-control "partying." Additionally, the SNL star seems to be in good condition, as a staffer at the sketch comedy show told Gossip Cop that he's focused on the positive.

Davidson has been spotted in better spirits. For instance, he was recently photographed smiling and having a good time with MGK at a basketball game at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. He was even spotted shaking hands with a fan.

And despite the claim he allegedly refused help from SNL castmates, a source involved in the show's production confirmed to Gossip Cop that the claim of the tabloid is simply false and inaccurate. The rep said SNL crew, writers, and performers had been squarely in Davidson's corner. The show's boss, Lorne Michael, offered to help Davidson in any way he can.

It's worth mentioning that National Enquirer has frequently been making false narratives about SNL cast members. Gossip Cop busted the tabloid before for claiming Scarlett Johansson was rushing to the altar with SNL head writer and "Weekend Update" anchor Colin Jost. Then, the same outlet also reported in October 2017 that Ben Affleck annoying SNL cast with tips on how to improve the show.

Both claims were fabricated, and its latest report about Davidson refusing help from his castmates and chose to party with Machine Gun Kelly is false as well.
