Netflix released "You" over the holidays, and it becomes viral instantly. While a lot of questions from season one are yet to be answered, the thriller series confirmed there would be a second season. There's no date when will the season two be released, but a lot of things might happen next like focusing on Joe's past, and Peach's death. Others also speculated about Beck's murder, is she dead or will she be returning on season two?

You is a story about Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) - a psychopathic stalker, kidnapper, and murderer - who seems to be like a nice guy, a self-professed bibliophile, and a bookstore manager at New York City. After a beautiful blonde writer named Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail) went to his bookstore, he started stalking her on social media and eventually wins her affection. However, he kills whoever's on the way and he'll do everything just to be with Beck.

There are many unanswered questions on season one, and as the second season has been confirmed, a lot of fans are anticipating what's next for You. According to ELLE, season two will not be in New York, but it will be in Los Angeles instead. Series' showrunner Sera Gamble said Joe moved to LA to have a fresh start and he instantly falls in love with the place.

During the first season, Paco and his mother Claudia move to Los Angeles. So, it's possible Joe will have a reunion with his kid pal. Currently, there's no official statement who will be returning on the next season, aside from Badgley where he revealed via Twitter he'll be returning as Joe. It's not yet clear if Peach Salinger (Shay Mitchell) was indeed dead, while Dr. Nicky's alleged murder (John Stamos) is yet to be tackled.

Meanwhile, Joe's past continues to hunt him. His flashbacks indicate a lot of ugly things happened during his younger years. Mr. Mooney (Mark Blum) - the former bookstore owner and Joe's caretaker - seemed to have a huge role on Joe's past and he might be one of the reasons why he became messed up.

In his flashbacks from season one, Joe appeared to be scared of the older man. He usually tortured him whenever he commits mistakes. Gamble said there's a lot to explore about Joe's early life, and all of these will unfold in the second season.

As for Beck, Lail revealed to Radio Times after You premiered on Netflix that she will not be returning to the series - Joe indeed murdered her character. The actress said she's sad that she'll not continue her journey with Joe, but also added, she's sick and tired women don't win in the end. Despite making it clear, some fans are still hoping Beck will be back on the second season as her death is yet to be solved. Others also believe so she might appear somewhere in season two - just like Joe's ex-lover, Candace (Ambyr Childers).

During season one finale, Candace showed up at the bookstore, which shocked Joe as he thought he supposedly killed her. So, fans hope that just like Candace, Beck might make a possible appearance in future seasons.
