By now everyone knows that Spider-Man: Far From Home takes place after the events in Avengers: Endgame. For this, the trailer provides potential clues as to what happens in the Avengers: Infinity War sequel.

The trailer gives a potential spoiler about the fate of one particular Tony Stark in Avengers: Endgame. He was left floating in space with no hope of rescue and running low on resources. Fans fear for the worst, and the spider-man trailer may have confirmed their fears.

A scene in the trailer shows Peter Parker (Tom Holland) packing his things for a trip to Europe with his school friends. At one point, he looks forlornly at his Spider-Man suit, which is a gift from Mr. Stark in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Some fans take his expression as a sign that Iron Man is dead (the fact that Robert Downey Jr.'s Marvel contract ends with Avengers: Endgame fuels this assumption).

Peter is still coping with Tony Stark's death. He is debating whether he should bring the spider-man suit and looks demotivated to wear it again following the death of his mentor. He ends up leaving without it only to be surprised at the airport to see it in his suitcase, thanks to Aunt May who packed the suit for him.

On the other hand, Peter may have decided not to bring his suit since he "just wants to go on a trip with his friends." He thinks that "Europe does not really need the friendly neighborhood spider-man."

Another tell-tale sign of Tony Stark's possible demise in Avengers: Endgame is the huge check Happy is holding. Pepper Potts signed it, and viewers may remember that she and Tony are already married. She would have signed the check with her married name unless she decided not to after losing her husband. The good news here is that Pepper survived the Thanos snap.

Likewise, Tony is nowhere to be seen in the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer, probably for good measure to keep the secrecy surrounding his fate. He is at least mentioned once nearing the end of the preview while Peter's friends marvel at Mysterio.

Tony Stark's absence is felt in the Spider-Man: Home Again trailer especially with the arrival of Nick Fury. Instead of the billionaire philanthropist, Fury acts as Peter's mentor in the film. He guides him on his missions and convinces him to step up and wear his Spider suit again, which is telling of Iron Man's demise in Avengers: Endgame.
