The reason why she's upset is that she's also planning to publicly announce she's marrying her boyfriend Michael Barrett. The outlet cited a "source" claiming the actress sorted out everything and his ex-husband knew her plans, but then, he suddenly asked her girlfriend to marry him.
The unnamed insider contends Pratt and Schwarzenegger's engagement was very sudden, so Faris is convinced he's done that because he wanted to "steal her thunder." The actress allegedly canceled her plans to announce she's marrying her beau for months because she doesn't want to look like she's copying the actor. The alleged source further added that Faris isn't really happy, and the recent engagement seems to be a bit quick.
According to Gossip Cop, the entire report of the tabloid is inaccurate. It can be noted that Faris congratulated Pratt on his engagement after the news broke on social media. She commented on the Instagram post of his ex-husband, saying she's happy for the both of them.

She said the actor texted him after proposing to his girlfriend, where she answered him "that's amazing!" She even reminded him that she's an ordained minister. So, there's no hint that she's furious and upset over her ex-husband's engagement and she's actually offering to officiate his wedding.
Faris is indeed happy for Pratt and Schwarzenegger, but the tabloid is only making false narrative to make it look like she's mad over the recent engagement.
