The "Lucifer" cast and crew recently held a Lux convention in Brighton, England, and the event was full of fun and surprises. And just like anticipated, the conference, which was like an after-party following last year's after-party production, was filled with "Lucifer" Season 4 teasers.
In a panel led by DB Woodside, the 49-year-old actor, who plays Amenadiel's role, revealed there would be a lot of wings seen throughout "Lucifer" Season 4. Would the angels come down on earth to meet Lucifer?
According to CarterMatt, there are also reports that Dan (Kevin Alejandro) and Amenadiel will have a hard time to cope with Charlotte's (Tricia Helfer) lost in "Lucifer" Season 4 after she was gone at the previous season's end. There are also hearsays that the new installment will be "dark, intense, but still very much fun."
Although it is quite expected that Netflix would make "Lucifer" Season 4 a little "edgier," it might not change the way it was. Fans have loved the show's previous seasons the way it ran, so it might not move away from how the story used to unfold.
Aside from giving spoilers and reuniting the show's cast and crew, the convention was primarily to celebrate the show's return, "Lucifer" Season 4 renewal, and everyone who did their best to make it happen. Everyone had a great time and glad that they were still together after Fox canceled the series. With the fun this convention brought, fans could expect another gathering would happen in the future.
Meanwhile, Netflix has yet to announce "Lucifer" Season 4's official release date, not even at the Lux convention where everyone was waiting for that announcement. But, Radio Times reported it would be out sometime this year.
It was the same thing Tom Ellis, who plays the lead role Lucifer, said on his tweet back in December. "Ok people asking in UK #Luciferseason 4 will premiere next year on @NetflixUK and season 1-3 will also become available, but until then you can still watch it on @AmazonUK," he said about "Lucifer" Season 4's release.
"Lucifer" Season 4 would have 10 episodes, way shorter compared to what Fox used to deliver. However, Netflix reportedly would split it into two parts, meaning the show would have a mid-season break after Episode 5. So, the streaming network would probably drop the first five episodes and take a break before revealing the show's second half. From the looks of it, the waiting game is far from being over.
