It looks like Lucifer (Tom Ellis) has another thing to deal with in "Lucifer" Season 4 aside from the good and evil. Originally known as Samael, he has to face a new character's obsession with the prophecy he has to follow.
The new Graham McTavish will be making Lucifer's life harder in "Lucifer" Season 4. The 58-year-old actor will be playing the role of Father Kinley, a man of God who is obsessed with a particular prophecy.
According to TV Line, Father Kinley will be blocking Lucifer's plans in "Lucifer" Season 4. "The priest very much has got an ax to grind," Tom Ellis told the publication about Graham McTavish's character.
Father Kinley believes that when Lucifer finds his first love on Earth, evil will be unleashed all over the world in "Lucifer" Season 4. CarterMatt reported that the priest has to know that Tom Ellis' character is the "devil before any chaos" can happen.
From the looks of it, Father Kinley's prophecy will play throughout "Lucifer" Season 4. Graham McTavish's coming perfectly fits Eve's (Inbar Lavi) arrival in the new season. The priest will be surely more paranoid about the fact that she and Lucifer have a history and she is the first human on Earth, and possibly his first love.
Father Kinley seems wanting Lucifer not to fall in love in "Lucifer" Season 4 because of some possible bad consequences. Unfortunately, it is not the only one "romance-related" issue he has to face. He also has to deal with Eve's coming in the new season to make things more complicated.
Comic Book added that Lucifer would be in his most emotionally vulnerable moment in "Lucifer" Season 4 when Eve would suddenly turn up. "[Seeing her] brings back so much for Lucifer, about the man he used to be -- or the Devil he used to be," Tom Ellis said.
Eve has never forgotten Lucifer even in for a while, and she still loves him. Eve's arrival in "Lucifer" Season 4 will also create chaos between Lucifer and Chloe (Lauren German), which Father Kinley will also try to stop.
Things will surely turn "Lucifer" Season 4 a "seriously fun drama" now that the show is on Netflix. Tom Ellis also promised that the series would stay the same as fans have loved them for their original concept since they were on Fox.
But as the streaming network and regular television network differ on restrictions, the initial is more open on gore, violence, and mature content, viewers can expect to see more daring scenes, including Tom Ellis' bum in "Lucifer" Season 4. Netflix has yet to announce the show's official release date, but it is expected to be out sometime this year.
