Fans and followers of the "Baby One More Time" singer Britney Spears will see their favorite star on the big screen one more time after almost 17 years.
After appearing in "Crossroads" in 2002 with Zoe Saldana and Taryn Manning, the talented actress, singer, and composer will now be starring in a horror-comedy movie entitled "Corporate Animals."
"One of our characters-Calum Worthy's character, Aidan - is obsessed with Britney Spears, and there's a runner of him as he's going crazy thinking that he is hearing Britney Speaking to him from the walls," Patrick Brice, the director of the project, revealed how Britney will glam up the story in an interview with the Los Angeles Times at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
The revelation of Brice caught everyone in shock and amazement. The thought of seeing the "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" singer made a lot of people, including Jessica Williams, one of the cast members of the film, pretty excited with how the movie will turn out to be.
"That is awesome. Wow, that's awesome," Williams shared with excitement. "I gotta hear the outtakes. I'm happy to have that energy in the film", she added.
To those people who were wondering how this collaboration happened, the director of the film explained that this great and amazing project was made possible "through a series of connections." With the help of some friends, the team was able to get her for the movie. It only took her about 10 minutes but it "was so awesome."
Director Brice further revealed that though a lot of people are already excited about the movie, the "Corporate Animals" still doesn't have the exact release date yet. The director does assure one thing, the movie will premiere at Sundance this week, as reported by E! News.
Meanwhile, the "Oops... I Did It Again" singer was recently caught reacting on an interview made with her super sweet co-star Zoe Saldana by saying, "Truly the sweetest, thx 4 the kind words. Nothing but great memories of working w u. Crossroads pt 2? ;)"
Though there is still no confirmation regarding the sequel of the 2002 movie as of yet, with Spears posts, fans and celebrity watchers can't help but hope for a part two of their favorite story.
As for the meantime, Spears is still all-eyes on her music career and the whereabouts of her family. And fans couldn't be happier and supportive of her with it.
